CEFAGE-UE has recently subscribed to several databases of scientific journals and historical economic and financial data, including JSTOR, ABI/INFORM, NBER, CEPR, Amadeus and Osiris.

Due to the fact of being appointed Director of the IIFA, Dr. Soumodip Sarkar is no longer the Director of CEFAGE-UE.

In the elections held on 05/02 Dr. Joaquim Ramalho, former Vice-Director, was elected as the new Director of CEFAGE-UE for the biennium 2010-2012. Dr Andreia Dionísio and Dr. Isabel Vieira were appointed as vice-directors.

The 1st Workshop on the Economics of ICTs, which is a joint organization of CEFAGE-UE, CEF-UP and Programa CMU-Portugal-IST, will be held at the University of Porto, on March 11th.

A Universidade de Évora irá acolher, nos dias 28 e 29 de Janeiro de 2010, o XV Workshop em Contabilidade e Controlo de Gestão “Memorial Raymond Konopka”, numa organização do Centro de Estudos e Formação Avançada em Gestão e Economia (CEFAGE -UE), Universidade Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) e Universidade Pablo de Olavide (UPO).

The results of the projects that would receive financing were finally announced by FCT, involving all the scientific domains. Two of the projects submitted by teams led by members of CEFAGE-UE have been approved to receive financing.
