Displaying the Pareto frontier in decision problems with multiple objectives

An approach based on displaying the Pareto frontier using decision maps as sets of trade-offs is presented. The decision maps can be built for 2-5 objectives and be studied by the decision maker interactively. After have identified the preferred combination of goals in the space of objectives, the value of remain variables is calculated by the method of reference point. Then, two application examples are presented: 1) an operations management problem in a small business firm of the building sector; and 2) a multi-objective problem of forest management in Portugal.
