Abstract:

The Impact Factor (IF) is the principal metric for evaluating and accounting citations, and has been widely used as a bibliometric indicator in research performance evaluation and can be applied at all organizational levels (author, institution, country/region, research field, or journal), and remains the main metric used to assess the quality of research in management, economics and business. However, some questions emerge: What is the IF real meaning? How to publish in high-impact international top leading journals? What are the inherent challenges, and how do we overcome them? How to produce research that has a real impact?

This CEFAGE workshop deals with this theme and tries to shed light on the subject, helping to think strategies and demystify the high-impact publication from TBL's perspective.

General Overview:

Part 1: the idea on this day would be a lecture for scholars and professionals, clarifying the purpose and scope of TBL, the main challenges to be faced in the editorial process and the type of article we are waiting for.

Part 2: this CEFAGE workshop addresses the theme "high impact research" and seeks to shed light on the subject, helping to think of research strategies and demystify high impact publishing, taking as its starting point the perspective of TBL in the light of years of editorial experience in several Top Leading Journals (eg, Editor-in-Chief, Senior Editor, Associate Editor, Guest Editor, Deputy Editor, Editorial Board Member, among others). Therefore, it is expected to share some editorial and research experiences and establish a productive dialogue that contributes to everyone.
