Steven Klepper wins the Global Award for Entrepreneurial Research
Carnegie Mellon University professor and member of the CEFAGE-UEs Research Advisory Board, Steven Klepper, awarded with a 100,000 prize, distinguishing his outstanding contribution for entrepreneurship and small business development theories.
The 100,000 prize, to be delivered in Stockholm in June, was created in 1996 by three Swedish organizations. Professor Klepper was awarded for his pioneering research on the evolution of industries, focusing on the auto industry, makers of tires, televisions, penicillin and semiconductors.
